I grew up in Elgin, Illinois, in a sports-loving family, which sparked my passion for athletics. I played college basketball at Northern Kentucky University (NORSE UP!) and later worked in public accounting before returning to sports as a college basketball coach.

While coaching, I saw a major gap in social media coverage for my teams. I took matters into my own hands—creating accounts, designing graphics, and capturing authentic moments. This passion led me to become the Creative Director for The University of Tulsa’s athletic department, where I ran social media for all 16 sports, designed daily graphics, and even picked up a camera to shoot everything from football to rowing.

After an incredible year in Tulsa, my fiancé and I moved to Sacramento in 2023 to be closer to family. I spent the next two years at UC Davis building the digital unit up and telling the stories of our department and athletes through design, photography, and social media.

After two years in California and a wedding, the opportunity for my husband and I to be closer to my hometown and my immediate family presented itself at the University of Toledo. So we decided to take another leap and we are planting some roots in Ohio.
